This indeed makes a lot of sense and as a matter of fact, it is what organizations need at this point in time - era of economic downturn and competitiveness. It is the way to gain both the employees loyalty to deliver qualitative service, and constantly identify with what the company represents and also win over the hearts of the consumers. And in the long run, a resultant gain of a sizeable market share

Very informative. Employers have yet to catch on that employees want to be part of an organization that cares about other things beyond the "bottom line." For example, if an employee sees that their company cares about the environment there is a chance that they might actually care about their people as well.

Well written responsible and motivational piece.
The benefits of responsible corporate programs such as CSR should become ingrained in all big businesses and should be included within the overall mission and vision objectives of all firms.

Perhaps a worthwhile follow - up article to this may be a "start at the top" how-to piece. I have found there is a unique company personality that permeates all levels of employees. In short, if upper management practices kind, caring, open policies, those policies will, over time, filter down to all employee levels. Hopefully CSR can become part of a companie’s personality.
